Theater
Theater isderivedfrom the Greekword theatron, whichmeans"a place forviewing". Theaterisanother term fordrama. theateristhe process of selectingthe textorscript, the cultivation, presentationorperformanceandprocessunderstandingorenjoymentof thepublicor the audience(to readers, listeners, viewers, observers, criticsorresearchers). The processof becomingis calledproceduraldramatheater. Theatercan beinterpretedin two ways:in a narrow senseandin a broad sense. Theaterin the narrow senseisadrama(the story of humanlifetoldon stage, the crowdwitnessedandbased onthe writtentext). In a broad sense, theaterisallspectacleperformedinfront of crowdsof peoplepuppetsexample, kethoprak, ludrukandothers.
There is all elements in thetheater: 1. Scriptorscenario- containsthename of thecharacterandthe story ofspoken dialogue. 2. Player- apersonwho playsa certaincharacter. Thereare threetypes ofplayers, themainrole, supporting roleandadditionalrolesorextras. Inmoviesorsoap operas, the playeris usuallyreferredActressforwomen, andActorfor men. 3. Film director- thepersonwho leadsandset upamanufacturingengineeringortheater performances. 4. Property- anecessaryequipmentintheater. For examplechairs, tables, robots, spacedecoration, decorations, etc.
